The Trail of Deception

The Trail of Deception

A subject of controversy is whether Yah’shua is the Messiah.

To help us discover the truth of this matter we need to take a step back and look at the matter from “the big picture” perspective.

Anyone who has found, or is finding his or her way out of Babel knows how difficult a task it is. Lies, deception, and trickery are some of the adversary’s tools that he uses to confuse and mask the truth. Can knowing the ways of the adversary help us to discern truth in this matter? Let’s find out, shall we?

The Blind

Imagine a world filled with blind people, and that we are numbered with the blind. We have “helpers” that help us get around, and who give us a visual picture of the world around us. We rely heavily on these “helpers” for almost everything. The “helpers”appear to be our only link with the world.

One day we heard a voice we didn’t recognize, this person told us to open our eyes and see. What a ridiculous concept, we have been told all of our life that we are blind and that’s the way it is. After all we are fairly content as we are.

With persistence the voice ordered us to open our eyes. The pain! Our reality is gone!

The world is nothing like our "helper" told us it was. It is dark and dreary, chaos and misery reign; we look around and see that invisible helpers are leading the other people of the world just like we were led. If we look really hard, we can almost see the outline of the invisible forces that guide the people through their lackluster lives. The unseen entities fill the minds of the blind with illusions of a world that is much better than the truth.

By altering our perception of the world the adversary and his minions have been able to lead us and guide us to view what he wants us to see. Since we now know this, and our eyes have been opened, we should be able to look through the smoke and mirrors and see the truth of matters.

Truth and lies

We know that any time the adversary wants to hide something from us, he uses a mix of truth and lies. Lets use Easter as an example.

The truths of the event are the resurrection of Yah’shua Messiah and the giving of his life as the ultimate sacrifice.

The lies are, SUNday resurrection, SUNday morning SUNrise worship, and of course the paganism that has been attached to the occasion. What do bunnies and colored eggs have to do with the sacrifice of the Messiah? Here we see truth mixed with lie, with an added dose of Babylonian mystery rituals to help keep people distracted and happy. The adversary has tricked multitudes of people into observing pagan SUN worship rituals on the day named in honor of the SUN, and has people using symbols of ancient fertility rites to honor a false god Jesus in place of the true Messiah. What a mockery of the real event.

Easy Prey

Those who do not adhere to any religious beliefs are easy prey for the adversary; these people rely on their own intellect to guide them. The adversary doesn’t have to do anything to keep them from the truth. Those that adhere to monotheistic Judaism he generally traps with their own stubbornness, and unwillingness to believe that they, or their rabbis may be wrong in their assumption that the Messiah has not yet come. The myriads of Christian organizations tend to be low maintenance. Clinging to the tradition and teachings handed down through the years, led by elders concerned with power and influence rather than truth. The Christian followers are led as sheep to slaughter.

Those few who refuse to be suckered into his cheap façade are his greatest challenge. These people require careful strategy and cunning to detract them from the truth. By using slightly different tactics, the adversary generally traps these people with their own intelligence. Like the Judaic believers, many are trapped by their own intellect, relying on their own knowledge and wisdom rather than using study and fervent prayer for guidance in all matters.

How does the adversary pervert and twist the reality of Messiah Yah’shua to those that do not, or will not adhere to his mystery Babylon? He attempts to trap them in other ways.

Lets explore a few more of the many deceptions the adversary has for the stubborn ones.

The Apostolic writings, who wrote them and when?

This deception has taken many away from the truth of Yah’shua Messiah. By the adversary’s actions thousands of years ago we are faced with answering this question with little information. The destruction of religious writings that did not “conform” to the mystery Babylon religion, were almost completely eliminated. This included the majority of the apostolic writings. The addition of material by unknown sources helps to stir up more controversy. Translation “errors” make parts of the apostolic writings into something akin to a farce. If we look at these writings with nothing more than our own intellect and knowledge, we might come to the conclusion that the apostolic writings are too tainted to be taken seriously. Talk about playing into the evil ones hands.

Through honest, sincere, and fervent prayer, asking The Eternal for guidance in all things, we should be kept from the trap of being led away from the extremely valuable teachings contained in the writings.

When we ask ourselves what the greatest source of testimony is for the Messiah Yah’shua, we automatically think apostolic writings. Many people searching for truth fall to the deception that the apostolic writings are unreliable. Without these invaluable teachings many people are left as unbelievers in the Messiah. The adversary smirks, and winks at his cronies. Got another one!

Truth or lie?

The Tanakh does not back up the quotes of the apostolic writings, therefore they are worthless dribble, and the Septuagint is a horrible Greek interpretation that has been tampered with so that it works with the apostolic writings. Those who are led from the truth by these deceptions generally base their judgments on what they have read or been taught by those whose agenda is against Yah’shua Messiah.

Translators have given us what we use today as the base of our Scriptures; this leaves us with the fact that these translations have errors, additions, and deletions. Whenever a man or men translate writings, they always translate it from their perspective and add personal bias. This is natural, just as the translators thought they were doing the Eternal YHWH a favor by blotting his name from the Scriptures.

We have conflicts to resolve here. Let’s step back and try and look at this from a non-biased position.

Have the Jewish scribes tampered with the writings of the Tanakh? Did they intentionally alter the writings in order to remove any reference to the true Messiah from them?

Were the writings of the Septuagint tampered with by the translators? Did they intentionally alter the writings in order to support references in the apostolic writings?

If you are of the Judaic mindset more than likely you think the Septuagint is flawed. If you are of the messianic mindset, you more than likely will think the Tanakh has the flaws.

If you were the adversary and wanted to cause confusion, what you do? Create confusion in both areas?

Babel

If you knew the true Messiah had come, you would probably put it in the mind of men to change the Tanakh, removing or changing references to Yah’shua as the Messiah. You would cast doubt and suspicion on the apostolic writings and the Septuagint, try to hide the fact that the Messiah had come, and cause general confusion anywhere you can.

Is that what has happened and is continuing to happen today? Smoke and mirrors, confusion and mystery. All for the purpose of attempting to take people away from the truth of the Eternal Creator Yah’weh and the firstfruit of many Yah’shua Messiah.

Look around the world today, religions galore. The people know they are in need of guidance and they are desperate to find it. Are they willing to work for it? Are they willing to change their lives to achieve it? Unfortunately most are not.

Most are too easily led by the adversary and his minions, “wheres my cane”? “What does that mean”? “What should I believe”?

Not everyone heeds the call to repentance. Many in the world hear or have heard the call but refuse to acknowledge it, prefering to

remain in comfort, with the guidance of their helper, who leads them every step of the way.

Leading them and guiding them to their destruction, the adversary continues to deceive the many.

The Choice

We have the choice, hear the call and heed it. Or ………?

May we see through the deceptions of the adversary and rely not on other men for understanding. Let us put our trust in our Father Yah’weh, who will send those who are sincere, a greater portion of His spirit to lead us and guide us to His truth.

Shalom & Agape in YHWH’s precious Name
