We are not Christian, Messianic or Jewish, so who are we?

If you were to take away the manmade doctrines and traditions created and adopted by Christianity, the vast majority of those who call themselves Messianics and the Jewish people you would find that we are in a doctrinal position that is far enough away from each group that we will not label ourselves with their title.

Some historical background:
During the time just prior to the destruction of the second temple in 70 A.D. there was an expectation that the biblically prophesied Messiah would arrive to prepare the earth (kingom) for the Eternal. A Hebrew man was born about this time who called himself the son of man. When we read the Bible we see that there is a prophecy concerning the son of man in Dani’El 7:13

“I was looking in the night visions and saw One like the Son of man, coming with the clouds of the heavens! And He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. 14 “And to Him was given rulership and preciousness and a reign, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His rule is an everlasting rule which shall not pass away, and His reign that which shall not be destroyed.

This man who proclaimed himself to be this "son of man" was not Greek; he was born of a Jewish mother and father. This man firmly taught against the manmade traditions which were keeping the people from having the proper relationship with the Eternal. He saw, just as we see today how manmade doctrines and traditions have clouded people’s minds from the truth. We realize that our fathers inherited lies, and we have too!

We study each matter out to the fullest and we rid ourselves one by one of these non-scriptural, manmade abominations. We do not stop until every last doctrine and tradition is thoroughly investigated.

This is what makes us who we are: A people who are not accepted by Christianity because we will not take part in sun or fertility worship ceremonies or other even worse idolatrous practices. A people who are not accepted by the Jewish people because we do not regard their oral traditions and laws as having authority over scripture, and because we believe in the Hebrew prophet known as Yahshua/Yeshua/Joshua/Jesus, the sent one of the Eternal to prepare the earth for the harvest.

So… Who are we? We are those who don’t let our selfishness get in the way of worshiping the Creator of the heavens and the earth. We are those who study every tradition that has been handed down, or taught to us by the religious authorities of this age.
