John 1:1
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word (logos), and the Word (logos) was with Elohim, and the Word (logos) was Elohim.
Is John 1:1 referring to Yah’shua, or to something even more profound and meaningful? Let’s study the matter out.
G3056 – log’-os
From G3004; something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension a computation; specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (that is, Christ): - account, cause, communication, X concerning, doctrine, fame, X have to do, intent, matter, mouth, preaching, question, reason, + reckon, remove, say (-ing), shew, X speaker, speech, talk, thing, + none of these things move me, tidings, treatise, utterance, word, work.
We see that ‘Logos’ is used in many different ways.
Let' start with the general understandings of logos in John 1:1
John 1:1 In the beginning was the thought, and the thought was with Elohim, and the thought was Elohim.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the reasoning, and the reasoning was with Elohim, and the reasoning was Elohim.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the motive, and the motive was with Elohim, and the motive was Elohim.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the intent, and the intent was with Elohim, and the intent was Elohim.
How about this one...
John 1:1 In the beginning was the plan, and the plan was with Elohim, and the plan was Elohim.
John 1:14 And the plan became flesh and pitched his tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-forth of a father, complete in favour and truth.
YHWHs plan for mankind was manifested in the flesh by the actions of the man Yah’shua, who overcame the flesh and did the will of the Eternal. Can it be proven? Let’s look to the words of Yah’shua....
Mat 6:9 “This, then, is the way you should pray: ‘Our Father who is in the heavens, let Your Name be set-apart, 10 let Your reign come, let Your desire be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Mat 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens.
Mat 12:50 “For whoever does the desire of My Father who is in the heavens is My brother and sister and mother.”
Mat 26:39 And going forward a little, He fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I desire, but as You desire.”
Mat 26:42 Again He went away, a second time, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is impossible for this to pass unless I drink it, let Your desire be done.”
Yah’shua did the Fathers desire and not his own.
John 1:2 & 3
Lets dig a little deeper...
John 1:1 In the beginning was the (Logos / plan) Word, and the (Logos / plan) Word was with Elohim, and the (Logos / plan) Word was Elohim. 2 (which or It - the Logos / plan) He was in the beginning with Elohim. 3 All came to be through (It - the Logos / plan) Him, and without (It - the Logos / plan) Him not even one came to be that came to be. 4 In (It - the Logos / plan) Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
The translators are using “He” for the meaning of logos, this should be properly translated as It, or which in certain places.
In verse 2 the word He is the Greek word houtos. This would be better translated as "which or It" when we understand that logos is the divine plan of the Father.
G3778 - houtos houtoi hautē hautai
Including the nominative masculine plural (second form), nominative feminine singular (third form), and the nominate feminine plural, (fourth form). From the article G3588 and G846; the he (she or it), that is, this or that (often with the article repeated): - he (it was that), hereof, it, she, such as, the same, these, they, this (man, same, woman), which, who.
In the verses following - the word translated as He is the Greek word autos.
G846 - autos
From the particle αυ au (perhaps akin to the base of G109 through the idea of a baffling wind; backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the compound of G1438) of the third person, and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons: - her, it (-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, ([self-], the) same, ([him-, my-, thy-]) self, [your-] selves, she, that, their (-s), them ([-selves]), there [-at, -by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with], they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare G848.
This shows that using “He” may indeed be a stretch of the imagination of the translators, just as Logos being translated as Word could be better clarified by using “Plan”. Putting it together in context shows that the divine plan or purpose of the Eternal is the objective spoken of here by Yochanan.

John 1:7 This one came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not that Light, but that he might bear witness of that Light.
Luke 1:76 “And you, child, shall be called prophet of the Most High, for you shall go before the face of YHWH to prepare His ways, 77 to give knowledge of deliverance to His people, by the forgiveness of their sins, 78 through the tender compassion of our Elohim, with which the daybreak from on high has looked upon us, 79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Matt. 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works and praise your Father who is in the heavens.
