Faith is it enough?
We
as followers of The Almighty YHWH are endowed with a measure of faith, which in
turn allows a measure of the set apart Spirit to reside in us.
The
more wickedness and fleshly desires we purge from our lives, the more room there
is for the set apart spirit to reside. The spirit helps us grow in The
Eternal's way of Love and truth, leading and guiding us.
We
are active participants in the measure of the spirit we receive. If we are
loving and kind, show our respect and love for YHWH and those around us we
receive a large portion of spirit. If we live in the flesh, doing and wanting
the things of this world, the spirit will be present but in miniscule
quantities.
This
faith and indwelling Spirit allows us to proclaim the truth to those around us,
and inspires us to rise above what we would normally be capable of doing.
Is
this faith enough for us to stand in front of The Almighty Creator and
reconcile the wrongs we have committed in our lives thus far?
Are
we confident that what we are doing with the knowledge, and understanding that
YHWH has endowed us with is enough? Should we not be fearful, and wanting to
please our wonderful Creator? What more can we do in our lives to further The
Eternals will on Earth? Should we be content with what we have, and what we
have done?
Picture
this. A generous man gives us a million dollars, we take that million dollars
and place it in the bank and live off of the interest. Is this the proper thing
to do with this money?
Most
people today would go on a self-satisfying spending binge, or would live off of
the interest. But wouldnt the wise man knowing what future befalls all men
distribute this wealth to those who are needy?
The
money was generously given, shouldnt it be generously distributed? Compare this
to the knowledge we have been given. Do we hold on to it as a treasure, or do
we freely give of the generosity that has been bestowed upon us?
When
we stand before The Eternal and He asks us what we have done with the talent He
gave to us, what shall be our answer? Humiliation, and a humble and sincere I
am so sorry Father?
Or;
I did as you asked Wonderful Father, I can only hope that what you had given me
has grown and produced much fruit.
Faith
without works is dead. Shouldnt we spend our time on Earth proclaiming the soon
coming kingdom of YHWH?
Yes
the mockers and the spiteful may laugh and jeer at us. Should we care for the
things of this Earth, or should we look to the expectancy of a wonderful
future?
It is our choice, may we make the wise choice.
