The Apostolic
writings, fiction, mystery, or history?
Who
actually wrote the apostolic writings? This is a mystery that has confounded
many people since their canonization. Do we need to be sleuths to figure out
where these writings originated? What made these writings so special that the
church decided to place them alongside of the Hebrew writings of the Tanakh,
and deem them as inspired? Who were the people, written of in these writings?
Were they real people, or a product of the imaginations of one or more people?
Was there a Hebrew man of the tribe of Yahudah who came to spread the good news
of the coming kingdom, or was he a figment of writer’s imaginations as well?
The origin of the apostolic writings appears to be a well-woven mystery. Can we
who are living thousands of years after these writings were scribed figure out
the truth behind these questions? Lets give it the ol college try. Figuratively
speaking of course.
First
lets look at another mystery that is easier for us to dicipher and will help
give us some insight on how we might best approach the main mystery. A mystery
within a mystery, how intriguing.
Most
people, who have been shown truth by The Eternal, know the secret of the
Babylonian mystery religion. In our studies we have probably seen how the Roman
Catholic religion developed by absorbing the customs and rituals of many pagan
worshiping civilizations. Basing its principle doctrines upon the teachings of
a Jewish rabbi named Yah’shua (Jesus), this new, yet old religion twisted and
perverted itself with each new pagan religious practice it indoctrinated.
Transforming itself into the Mother Harlot and her offspring, which has gone
out into the world, deceiving the many, teaching doctrines of their own
creation.
We
must pose to ourselves a question. Who is the head of this ancient religion
dating back to the days of Nimrod? We know this is the adversary, the deceiver
of all, well almost all mankind. Knowing who our opponent is gives us insight
into how our opponent operates.
Is
the adversary blatant in his deceptions, or is he cunning and calculating,
mixing truth with lies to keep people following his twisted paths? The evil
ones know what makes man tick; they prey upon the weaknesses of men, vanity,
lust, pride, and fear. If they cant get you one way, they will try and get you
another.
Are
people aware of this preying upon their very being? Not a chance! By allowing
men to think that they are in control of their lives, the evil ones are able to
lead these people like puppets to a fireplace. We also know the tools of the
opponents, half or partial truth mixed with self-deception, mixed with frail
human emotions.
Let’s
ask ourselves a question. Whom or what gave us warning of this mother harlot
and her daughters? Was it divine revelation? The Tanakh? The apostolic
writings? I think all of us are able to answer this question without
hesitation. We have been led by the Set Apart Spirit to understand the warnings
in the apostolic writings. These writings give us a perfect picture of this
mystery religion, which has evolved over time, ever changing to meet the
desires of the deceived worshipers. The apostle Shaul warned of the mystery
creeping into the assemblies of truth.
This
leads us to ask another question. Why does this same mystery religion base
their very existence on these writings, which warn the readers not to take part
in their wickedness? Is this a philisophical question, or a question with an
obvious answer?
We
know the tactics and we know the adversary. Do we know the answer? Using
historical information during the time of the writings and afterward show us a
large part of the overall plan of deception. The adversary knew that too many
people had been brought to the truth of Yah’shua. He also knew that he could
not erase the minds of all of those who knew the truth.
The
adversary put in place, his plan to cover up, and pervert the teachings of
Yahshua and the apostles, and to destroy as many of the writings as possible,
kill as many believers as possible, and reduce the majority of the populace to
ignorance. It appears that the affects of these actions were profound. The
adversary using various puppets, brought about a serious decline in true
worshipers, and caused the mystery religion to flourish and become the religion
of the world.
Why
would the adversary allow the apostolic writings to survive and be used as the
base of the mystery religion? The adversary knows that if he were to have
attempted to cover up the existence of the man Yah’shua, his followers, and
teachings that his deviousness would have been exposed, and the truth would be
shown, either by mankind, or by the intervention of The Almighty Creator. The
wonderful teachings of Yah’shua, and his apostles have survived so that we can use
them to guide us in our lives today.
Just
as the Tanakh has survived thousands of years by the will of The Eternal, so
the apostolic writings have survived as well.
Now
we need to ask ourselves if the Scriptures as we know them are the infallible
word of YHWH. Most of us who have been brought to the truth know that the
Scriptures have been tampered with. One of the most blatant examples of man
changing the text to suit their own desires, is the removal of the Name above
all Names YHWH from the Scriptures. If man has found himself exalted enough to
remove The Eternals name, what else might he be capable of? What about the
changing of the name of Yah’shua, to the Greek Jesus. These are just two
examples of the tampering that has occurred.
Why
would The Almighty allow these changes and distortions to the Scriptures? Could
it be because the content that we really need to know hasnt been changed? Let’s
be honest and think about it. Is the message that The Eternal wants to be
understood by mankind still intact? Would the Eternal have allowed the
adversary to remove His primary message for us? The Almighty may allow men to
drift from the teachings, ensnared by the adversary, or be oblivious to the
intent, but he would never allow his message of love to be erased.
Think
about the apostolic writings, they tell of a man sent as a messenger of The
Almighty Yah’weh, a man who taught the message of LOVE, love for the Eternal
Creator first, and then love for all mankind. What greater message is there? We
can dissect and pick apart scripture verse all day long, but what does it gain
us? If we dont understand the basic teaching of love, we know nothing. This is
main message that Yahshua taught during his teaching.
The
original converts to the teachings of Yah’shua must have been drawn by Faith.
Think of how you were drawn to where you are now. Is it because you were drawn
by faith? Were you led by the spirit of YHWH to leave the deceptive teachings
of the adversary? Do we take the Tanakh and the apostolic writings on faith?
Sure we do, we have too! If we didnt have these writings then we would never
have known The Eternal. When we read the scriptures, the set apart spirit of
YHWH leads us. Through study and prayer, we show that we long for truth and
understanding.
By
not believing any thing that a man says, but by searching for the truth
ourselves, we find the greater wisdom that The Eternal wants for us. We as
people today are fortunate; we have boundless sources of information to help us
discern truth from deception. But when it comes to truly understanding a matter
we pray, using our faith in our awesome Creator to help us come to the
knowledge of truth.
Many
of us who read the apostolic writings are able to spot the problems because we
know these writings have issues. The majority of the deceived world doesnt have
this luxury. They are tricked into believing the mystery religions statement
that, the scriptures as they are today are the infallible word of G_d.
Todays
Christian organizations use these perverted translations to promote either a
twin god, god the father and god Jesus, or the trinity god, god the father, god
Jesus, and god the holy ghost. The adversary has used his Babylonian mystery
religions leaders as puppets over the centuries to add a little here, and
change a little there, and to bring about the worship of a god that is not
written of in the scriptures, instead of the Almighty Yah’weh. The Mother
harlot has elevated the mangod Jesus, the Virgin Mary, the saints, etc. to god
or godlike status, which has taken the honour, love, and respect away from The
Eternal YHWH that he so very much, deserves.
Think about all of the damage these improper translations have
caused.
Is
there a rule of thumb we can use? Or do we just use the apostolic writings as
suggested, but not literal guidelines? I know that I look closely to the
Babylonian Mystery Religion for the answer to that question. If the Babylonians
do it, It can’t be good! Look at their man made doctrines, observances, and the
like. If any of them are drawn from scripture, more than likely that scripture
has been mistranslated, misinterpreted, or added. Lets see, that cuts out,
x-mass, Easter, SUNday worship, communion, etc. etc. etc. All of these
observances appear to distort the reality of a real event, and change it into a
mockery. What better way to keep people from the truth, and the worship of The
Eternal Creator?
Why
did the adversary make a mockery of the timing of the death of Yahshua? It
helped him to trick mankind into rationalizing the change of Sabbath
observance, and also allowed a change of the timing and observance of the
Passover.
Was
Yahshua our Passover lamb? Did he come to deliver us from the laws of
sacrifice, and to make allowance for those who would heed the call come out of
her my people, by the giving his life? Was he the first risen, The wave sheaf
offering? Did his death allow the Spirit of the Eternal to come to Earth, and
be a helper, and teacher, to any whom would heed the call? Did he, or did he
not fulfill Tanakh prophecy?
You
be the judge, The Apostolic writings, fiction, mystery, or history? Or all
three! In the struggle for souls, the adversary awaits your decision with bated
breath. He knows how important this is to your position in the coming kingdom.
If you should decide to make the right decision, be assured the evil ones will
attempt to turn you away by other means.
There
are sure to be many questions that we will not know the answer to. Until the
coming of the King, we must accept this. We know that if we walk in Yah’shua’s
footsteps, we will be given father YHWH’s spirit led guidance. The adversary
has no hold on those who sincerely love Yah’weh and keep his commands to the
best of their ability.
Those who love
Yah’weh and all mankind are a treasure indeed.
